Through his 4 years in the United States, Charlie has learned a lot about race, religion, gender, sexuality, and mental health. He wants to present his growth through this final collection of his college career. On his journey to overcoming self-esteem issues and internalized racism, xenophobia, sexism, and homophobia, Charlie wants this collection to be an inclusive statement, made available to all kinds of identities in this society.

Inspired by nature’s colors, from deserts, plateaus, the ocean, and lavender fields, Charlie is designing with bright solid colors for the first time in his life. Looking at the beautiful colors and patterns of nature, he took a break from the busy world, from all the conflicts and competitions; and realized that colors can be a peaceful escape.
