Jared Jurentkuff draws inspiration from many different areas of graphic art, architecture, historical periods and organic structures. His designs are edgy and minimalistic, bordering more so on costume than ready-to-wear. His design work ranges from wedding to club wear. The rich artistic culture of the Minneapolis metro area has helped him hone his skills as an artist and convey ideas through his work. Jared is hoping to travel after graduation to collect inspiration firsthand, eventually settling in a larger metro area to refine his skills.
In his line, Jared adds an industrial flare to inspiration pulled from the Rococo period to create performance costumes for drag queens and go-go dancers. Focusing on the needs of performers, he has given the users maximum mobility and enough coverage to move and dance through the careful selection of fabrics and construction methods.
