Lindsey DeWitt’s interest resides in women’s ready-to-wear. Her signature looks involve straightforward silhouettes and interesting color palettes, prints, and textures. DeWitt creates wearable pieces that have the ability to fit into one’s wardrobe, while also transforming it. She also wishes to create clothing that inhibits carefree and effortless coolness. She believes getting dressed should be an amusing and ever-changing process. DeWitt has had the opportunity to participate in local fashion shows “Twelve”, “Emerging Designer Showcase”, “Flux”, and “Envision: Artopia.” DeWitt has also been featured on local blogs The Minneapolis Egotist and L’étoile. This past summer, she interned in Los Angeles with contemporary women’s ready-to-wear company A.L.C. Looking to the future, she hopes to have the opportunity to travel, finding interesting concepts out of everyday encounters.
